Abuse on Display

The Use and Abuse of Animals in Circuses is a concept for an exhibition which would be hosted by the Freedom for Animals foundation which aims to end the display and use of animals in exploitative environments including Circuses. For the timeline poster, access passes, and the sweatshirt I went for a worn & torn vintage newspaper feel to communicate the seriousness & darkness of the exhibition’s theme and purpose. The timeline highlights various movements throughout history from the year 1830 to present day in efforts to be the voices protecting these animals. In theory, the funds raised from the sweatshirt itself would go to the Freedom for Animals charity aiding the campaign against the mistreatment of animals.
